Day 41: Clare Discovering my well is filled with love!
"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world." Buddha
I have had such a terrific day continuing to re-connect with friends in Colorado and experiencing only the most amazingly positive thoughts! I bid farewell to Vista Caballo
and continued on my Road trip just south of Hesperus to spend the night with another dear friend and her husband. My friend and I met when she joined Dunton Hot Springs as a Massage Therapist and we worked together for about four years. She was a valued and respected member of the team.
I was tickled pink when I arrived and she said "The table is set up, and I would love to treat you to a mixed Ashi-Thai & Hot Stone massage" - WOW - How lucky am I!! My 1st Massage since embarking on my journey of Discovering Love in 365 Days and it was such a different feeling. I simply closed my eyes, breathed. Movement & Massage makes for a unique experience! Previously I would never be able to switch off and quieten my mind.....it was always 5 steps ahead and often 5 hours ahead!!
My friend has recently trained in Ashi-Thai Massage - Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy.
"A slow dance--that's how many have described the ancient work known as Thai massage, a modality that incorporates the tenets of yoga with massage and mindfulness. Accessible for just about everyone, Thai massage relies on the partnership between client and practitioner to facilitate therapeutic movement. Developed more than 2,000 years ago in Thailand, Thai massage remains a popular technique that incorporates aspects of yoga, acupressure, energy balancing, and massage. Considered one of the ancient healing arts of traditional Thai medicine, Thai massage continues to be a mainstay in Thai medicine, while quickly gaining a new audience in the Western world. What is Thai Massage? Also known as yoga massage, assisted yoga, ancient massage, and assorted other names, Thai massage respects the body's limits, while encouraging clients to reach their edge of flexibility, but never beyond." Barefoot Bodyworks is located in Durango, CO. http://barefootmassage.vpweb.com/
My friend and I tuned in and had a wonderful evening discussing the powerful effects of the healing touch, all the various massage techniques, Yoga, aromatherapy oils, chakras, anatomy of the spirit, nutritional healing and I am sure we would still be talking if it weren't for the fact I have a 4.15am wake up call to drive to the Airport! (Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise.)
I have so much more to tell you about my 670 Miles through Colorado, the love I have felt from re-connecting with friends and the new experiences I have thrown myself into but I am heading to bed now.....
Tonight it is a full moon and I hope like me you will be wishing big, and may all our dreams come true!
