Maggie's Day 54 of Discovering Love in Being Sick to My Stomach

I’ve been sick to my stomach all day. My friend, Dan, came over this morning to make me breakfast in bed. I know in Dan’s wildest dreams and perhaps yours as well breakfast in bed would be a real coup. However, in my world it just ain’t the same thing.

I was willing to make a breakfast of cheesy eggs,
biscuits, sausage and hash browns. It was more magnificent than anything I
could have imagined. Life on Sunday morning is easy and laid back and the way I want to live my life.

Dan watched as I cooked or perhaps he did something else but I wouldn’t know now what he did then. He purchased the groceries. I did the cooking. I kept to myself which works well for me.

Dan suggested we buy flowers for our gardens.  I was wondering when I ws going to get sick because my stomach hurt so bad.  The sooner the better.  We drove over to the Concrete Lady in Indiana for some yard art.  All the way through the Concrete Lady I was in pain and longing to be home and in bed. I never let up how miserable I was.

My friend, Dan, wanted to complete the task at hand. I just didn’t have the strength necessary to succumb to the needs of those around me.

Prior to today I committed to attending a concert never before performed in the United States of America, a birthday party for my dear friend, Stacey, whom I love dearly and want to honor as she so deserves to be honored.  Today I just couldn’t honor her. My stomach was killing me and I knew it was either the mess I have somehow managed to work myself in to or perhaps it was the mess I was working myself into. No matter how I looked at it, I just couldn’t relax today and enjoy as I am used to enjoying.

So, I am off to bed and will share with you the only photo from my only excursion to the Concrete Lady earlier today. Sweet Dreams to you and those who gather round your concrete. And remember to Discover Love.  I love you.  Sweet Dreams!  Maggie ã
