I was exhausted and unable to get out of the bed until almost noon. I had breakfast alone in the kitchen after my three failed attempts to find a kind gentle soul who could bring me breakfast in bed.
A quarter to twelve, I discover, is a bit too late for breakfast in bed for most people. It seemed perfect for me today though.
After a short stint of working I landed myself in the Pretty Princess chair to read the day’s newspaper. Before I was able to get past the first page I managed to shut my eyes for what would become a five and a half-hour nap.
Still exhausted carring a body that feels as though it ran in the Derby Festival miniMarathon yesterday, I now head off to bed for a good night’s sleep finding love in giving myself permission to take a day off from life to just sleep. Sweet Dreams! Maggie ã
